Visually, it seems to look similar to it's old look in BF:BC2, however it has changed some due to the new engine and all-around better graphics. When it comes to game play, it is a very useful tool for almost any situation. for example, if you're about to walk through a cluster of buildings full of vantage points where you could be ambushed, simply throw in a sensor grenade and reveal where the enemies are to make it much easier to get through or go around if it seems to difficult. The next grenade I want to talk about is new to Battlefield but I'm sure some of you know of it, the Flash-bang. By what I've seen, the flash bang seems like a really good addition to the game franchise. It acts very realistically such as if you back up, you would be less effected by it or if you turned your screen, it would affect one side more than the other and of course, if it lands a foot away from you in the front, your screen will be whites=d out and your sound will deafen for a few seconds. Below is what it might look like if a flash-bang landed a few feet away in front of you and you only get about 3/4 of the full effect. This is all I'm going to put in this post because it's already getting kind of long. The next post will continue on the grenades and after that I will finish covering the equipment. Battlefield 4 Equipment: Grenades Part 1
Hey, internet! This will be my first actual post about video games! The very first video game my blog will cover will be a personal favorite series of mine, Battlefield, more specifically their newest installment of the series: Battlefield 4! [I want to note this information is from Pre-Alpha game play and is subject to change] The topic I want to discuss about Battlefield 4 is the news about equipment and knifing. Now, there is a lot of information so this will probably be split up into multiple posts. Lets start with grenades. The first grenade I want to present is the Sensor Grenade. This grenade was last featured in BF:BC2 and was not seen in BF3 because it was replaced by the TUG-S sensor. By what I've seen, it acts exactly as it did in BF:BC2 where, when you throw it, it will give off a pulse every few seconds and you will see the enemies location pop up on your mini-map.
